Welcome to Rturah Jazz, Arthur Fowler’s homepage.
Arthur Fowler, from Milwaukee (just north of Chicago), has been performing blues and jazz and rock on three continents since, well, since decades into the last century. These days, his main band is with Noriko Shigehara, an inspired vocalist who takes her cues from the likes of Janis Joplin, Etta James, and Bonnie Riatt, among many others. Performing as a duo in and around Tokyo, they breath life into classic tunes, making them their own while bowing deeply to their traditions.
